Portaudio were expressed added for Windows users so it can help people with SDL sound problems (for Linux, Alsa is fixed, Pulse – best choice to use – is added and PortAudio is usable too)
Libsidplay1 is added again with his original filter and mixer windows and you can change at runtime the libraries to use. Libsidplay1 is expressed added for low end computers.
